Independently owned and operated,Fort Wahoo is a wonderful vacation  destination. We have several phases of production which will provide a vacation destination for all members of the family.  We have recently completed phase one which included the installation of 3 cabins.  These cabins provide you with all the necessities you will need for a stress free vacation.  Fort Wahoo is located on a 25 acer plat full of spacious land, beautiful trees, and plenty of wildlife.  Just imagine waking up in the morning, drinking your coffee on the porch swing, and watching the deer graze in your front yard. 


At Fort Wahoo we have completed the second and third phases of our plan which includes a large picnic shelter.  The picnic shelter has eight picnic tables and a large grill perfect for family gatherings.  The picnic shelter can be rented out for individuals wanting to host birthday parties, family reunions, business outings, or class reunions.  Please call the scheduling cordinator for additional questions.  The final phase included a large playground area complete with swings, slide, rock wall, and even a plank to cast off the other crew members who are not taking orders very well........



Our future plans include the reserection of 10 additional rental cabins. 
Last will come the addition of a business facility complete with any amenity one would need to conduct business meetings and or conference.

Fort Wahoo provides you with direct docking access at Cave Springs Resort and Marina. 

Lake Cumberland provides you with 1, 255 miles of shore line providing great fishing all year long. The lake provides both warm and cold water fish including largemouth bass, spotted bass, hybrid striped bass, walleye, sauger, and crappie.  Prey species include shad, minnows, dunfish, darters, and silver sides, channel blue, and flathead catfish, just to name a few. The Army Corps of engineers manage the Cumberland River Fisheries, providing quality while placing a strong emphasis on improving the aquatic resources and protecting the environment.  The water levels are continually monitored to protect the environment both above and below the dam.
